My Story

My mother said "you have way too much potential to do nothing with your life."

I graduated from St. Dominic's High School with a GPA that was a little too low to mention. After attending a community college for about a week, I realized that schooling just wasn't for me. I'll never forget my mom telling me that if I didn't go to college, I better find a passion and something to work toward. My mother said, "You have way too potential to do nothing with your life." and that's when my gears started turning.

I decided to try my luck at a small town culinary school. It wasn't much of a school, but it opened the door to endless possibilities. In my opinion you can attend the top universities or culinary schools, but if you lack drive and purpose then all  you'll have is a useless piece of (expensive) paper on the wall and old dreams of what could have been.

After working in a couple of restaurants, I learned so much. I am a firm believer that in any job you take, you should learn as much as you can because you never know when that past experience will come in handy. I decided to step away from the fine dining scene and return to the pizza game. I already had a couple of years of experience in a pizzeria so I figured, why not?

Enter Uncle Frank's Pizzeria. Being the nephew of the boss doesn't come with as many perks as you might think. Because I was his nephew, he held me to the highest standard. He would call out my lame excuses, childish behavior, tardiness, and anything else you can think of. I can't go into detail about those conversations because the talks were definitely not PG-13. It was there that I transformed from a child into a man. I became manager and learned every single detail there is to know about the pizza business. I spent ten years with him. I owe many people my life for helping me, and Uncle Frank sits very high on that list.

He and I are men who pride ourselves on quality. I refuse to sacrifice quality for any reason. I've always been okay with people saying our product is a bit pricier than others, but I will never accept(to my own standards) anyone saying the product is not great. That's why our new line of Enzo's Sauces is made from top-tier San Marzano tomatoes (imported from Italy), excellent quality extra virgin olive oil, and the list goes on. This recipe has been in my family and our stores for two decades, and it is tried and proven. I have been blessed to share our family recipe with you.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting me and my small business. These two jars of sauce (marinara and vodka) are only the beginning. I'm excited to grow and expand our product line. It's what helps my story continue.
